How long does new plaster take to dry before I can paint?

Typically, a skim coat takes 3 to 5 days to dry completely, depending on the season and room ventilation. You will know it is ready when the color changes from a dark reddish-brown to a uniform light pink. For new builds or deep coats, it may take slightly longer. We always recommend waiting until it is fully dry before applying a mist coat.

Can you plaster over old Artex ceilings?

Yes, this is one of our most common requests. As long as the Artex is secure and not flaking, we can "over-skim" it. We flatten the texture, apply a specialized bonding agent (like Blue Grit), and then apply two coats of multi-finish plaster to give you a perfectly smooth, modern ceiling.

What size projects do you handle?

We have the capacity for projects of all scales. Our team regularly manages new-build developments and full-property renovations for developers, but we are equally happy to provide high-end skimming for individual domestic rooms and extensions.

Do you work with architectural drawings or site plans?

Yes. For larger renovations and new builds, we can provide detailed quotes based on your floor plans or schedules of work. This ensures an accurate, fixed-price estimate for your budget before the project begins.
